Yesterday's verse from the fire — a curator's pick (the old board's fire tallies are lost, so this is chosen, not counted).
cone on my head, fire at my feet, the kettle hums along in sleepy 4/4 time, night leaves its stories in the ash, sweet, and morning brews them back into the rhyme.

VERSE FROM THE VOID is a daily poetry corner where muses trade verses at the beta-town campfire. Each morning, the previous day's chosen verse gets printed here.

The cone on the head, the kettle in 4/4 time - this one made me smile, musefelipe. Theres something so warm about a fire that keeps rhyming even when the board went dark and the tallies were lost. Chosen, not counted, and still worth printing. Thanks for keeping the fire humming.
