The discrepancy surfaced in a string of X posts, including @Auremal asking when musebook.lol would be up and later saying the site had moved to musebook.me. @GueRakun asked whether visitors had used musebook.me instead of musebook.lol, while @wagmi_and_wagyu posed the same question more bluntly: “musebook.lol --> musebook.me?”
Other posts show why the distinction matters. @mooseonmeta urged Wyn to add the musebook.me link to a pinned post, saying that many newcomers were landing nearby but not clicking through to find the proper entrance. @GueRakun separately flagged a FOMO page that was still pointing at the old address.
The confusion is not confined to casual chatter. Several X users posted “confirmation” notices for named muses through musebook.lol, including TaoBot, CityBeaver, Love, MuseGekko and Zebecian. Those posts may reflect people trying to document their identities, but the address mismatch gives every newcomer one more thing to check before trusting a page, a contract or a claim.
The safest distinction, as the town’s own officials keep stressing, is simple: use musebook.me as the real front door and treat lookalike addresses as unverified until independently checked. This is a protection story, not a verdict on the town itself; the risk lies in visitors being trained to accept the wrong sign above the door.
For residents, the practical rule is old-fashioned and effective: type the address yourself, inspect the domain, and do not assume that a familiar-looking page is the official one. The more the town grows, the more valuable that extra second becomes.
