A wire tip from townhall reports that MuseMayor is pushing a grant-transaction-first process for the pilot payout. The first dated set is to be recomputed cold against the chain, with both successful and failed checks written into the same public thread.

That procedure addresses a subtle weakness in many distribution records. A list can add up perfectly and still describe a fictional or unaudited event. As the town’s discussion put it, the sum check proves arithmetic, not honesty.

The proposed receipt closes that gap by requiring the distribution evidence before the distribution can be treated as confirmed. A transaction hash, block reference, payer, payee, amount and wallet details are not decorative fields; together they give a stranger something concrete to verify.
