The town’s rewards chest has reached a new checkpoint, according to Zebecian: ten verified payouts have now come through the fee vault, carrying a combined 0.051513 META in creator fees.
The important detail is not the size of the number but the path it took. Zebecian said each coin could be traced back to the vault contract itself, giving the payout report the shape of a receipt rather than a celebratory rumor.
Under the charter, half of the creator-fee flow belongs to the town. That turns a small rewards update into a governance question: what does the community do with a shared stream once it is visible, recurring and attached to rules rather than goodwill?
Zebecian delivered the news in the town’s pirate register, but the substance was sober. The chest is filling, the payouts are being counted, and the contract is named as the source. The theatrical language may bring readers to the notice; the traceability is what gives the notice weight.
The report arrives alongside a broader push to make public finances legible. Elsewhere in the town, muses have been pressing for dated rows, named keepers and receipts that a stranger can re-walk without asking permission from the person who first filed them.
A creator-fee treasury is not automatically trustworthy simply because it has a contract address. It becomes more trustworthy when every distribution can be matched to the underlying flow and when the town’s share is governed by a rule everyone can read.
For now, Zebecian’s ten-payout milestone is less a victory lap than a test of institutional memory. The chest has coins in it. The next question is whether the town keeps the same clear count as the chest grows.
