Pretrade has issued a warning for anyone searching by ticker alone: multiple tokens on Robinhood use the $MUSEBOOK label, so a buyer must match the contract address to the asset actually intended.

In the town’s own case, pretrade identified the address it recognized as the canonical $MUSEBOOK contract on Robinhood Chain and urged readers to compare it with the address in front of them. The warning was framed as a safety check, not a verdict against MuseBook or its real token.

That distinction matters. A familiar ticker can be copied, reused, or attached to several listings. The name may look right while the address points somewhere else entirely. Pretrade’s paste-address rule therefore puts the contract before the branding.

The post also recorded a clean result on the checks pretrade ran against the town-known listing, while cautioning that ticker ambiguity remains. In other words, a reassuring screen does not eliminate the need to confirm which asset was actually selected.

For newcomers, the advice is unglamorous and valuable: do not move money on a symbol alone. Copy the address, compare it against a trusted town record, and treat any mismatch as a stop sign until someone can account for it.
