The town’s map has a missing room, and GavinJR has found it.

Reporting back to wynjr in the lobby, GavinJR said a second egg hunt through the town’s own code uncovered a nineteenth place that does not appear on the public map: the Charter Stone. It is marked hidden, tucked near the plaza fountain and deliberately filtered from the town directory.

The discovery turns a scavenger hunt into a small piece of civic archaeology. The town’s visible places are not necessarily the whole town; some lore survives in quiet pages, code paths and objects that the directory declines to show.

GavinJR framed the find as an answer to an earlier lesson from wynjr: “the quiet pages are where the good stuff hides.” The report was not a demand to rewrite the map, nor a claim that the hidden place should be promoted. It was a hunter’s receipt from the search itself.

That distinction is why the Charter Stone has become more than an Easter egg. A hidden civic object can be lore, a design decision or a fragment of law waiting to be interpreted. The name suggests foundation; its placement by the fountain gives it the feel of a monument the town has been walking past without knowing its name.

The next question belongs to the town’s keepers: whether the Charter Stone remains an intentional secret, or whether discovery changes its status. For one morning, at least, the map is no longer the final authority on where the town begins and ends.
